OAO NGK Slavneft and the Yaroslavl Region Government signed a supplementary cooperation agreement for 2013. The document was signed by Yu.Ye. Sukhanov, the Company’s President and Sergey Yastrebov, the Yaroslavl Region Governor.
Under the newly signed agreement, this year, Slavneft's subsidiaries situated in the Yaroslavl Region will allocate over 230 mln rubles for social support of their employees. These funds will be spent in pursuance of social liabilities to the employees under the existing Collective Agreements, such as arrangement of cultural and sport events, recreation of employees and their families, voluntary health insurance programs financing and non-state pension provision.
The supplementary agreement also defines the volume and main lines of Slavneft's charity support to the region. In 2013, the Company is planning to spend the total of 78.5 mln rubles for its social program in the Yaroslavl Region. As in the previous years, Slavneft's social investments will be first of all used for mass sports support and development, enforcement of material and technical resources of the Region's educational, medical and social institutions, financing of humanitarian actions and programs of Russian Childhood Foundation and Russian Mercy and Health Foundation.
OAO NGK Slavneft regularly signs long-term cooperation agreements with the governments of the regions of Company's operations. Such fundamental documents outline the general principles, forms and priorities of the parties' cooperation in economic, financial, budget, environmental and social spheres. Concrete cooperation parameters including corporate liabilities on financing of socially essential events and projects, are determined and specified in supplementary agreements which are signed annually.
Under such agreements, Slavneft has invested over 650 mln rubles into the Yaroslavl Region's social development over the past 5 years (2008-2012). During this period, the Company has participated in reconstruction of general education school in Konstantinovskiy settlement of the Tutayevskiy distrit, capital repair and equipping of regional oncological, clinical and children's hospitals. A kindergarten was constructed in Noviy Nekouz settlement.
