Slavneft’s 2012 C1 Reserves Increment Made 21.2 mln tons


In 2012, Slavneft managed to increase its C1 recoverable oil reserves by 21.2 mln tons. Over the reporting period, the Company’s subsidiaries produced 17.9 mln tons of oil. Therefore, hydrocarbon reserves replenishment at Slavneft’s license areas amounted to 118%.
Total ABC1 remaining recoverable reserves on the books of Slavneft reached 678.1 mln tons by January 1, 2013. Such an important indicator as reserves-to-production ratio (ratio of ABC1 recoverable reserves to annual production) reached 38 years this year.
In 2012, Slavneft invested over 2.84 bln rubles in exploration. C1 recoverable reserves increment due to exploration activities made 8.5 mln tons over the reporting period, and exceeded business plan by 27%.
In 2012, 9 exploration wells were drilled at Slavneft’s oilfields. Exploration drilling meterage increased by 11.1% vs. the previous year and amounted to 23.6 ths meters. 2D seismic surveys were not carried out at the Company over the reporting year. The volume of 3D seismic performed amounted to 566 square meters.
As a result of exploration activities on the territory of Slavneft’s operations, 4 new deposits were discovered in KhMAO-Yugra: 1 at the Taylakovskiy, 1 at the Aganskiy, 1 at the Zapadno-Askomisnkiy and  1  – at the Zapadno-Ust-Balykskiy license areas.
